Frank P. Melocco, President In 1990, when operating a high end home renovation company Frank realized that the one area of the home that was being overlooked and needed some specialized attention was the master closet. Many homeowners were looking for an alternate solution to the standard rod and shelf that was offered in many stores and by so many home builders. Many of the new designs created for these clients was through the use of varied species of natural wood products, which then had to be finished to match the homeowners decor'. This process was very time consuming and also quite expensive. From these early experiences Frank realized the need for a local company that could offer a wide range of fully adjustable home storage solutions. If these products could be produced using durable, easy to clean materials that would not require a furniture grade finishing system the clients requests could be satisfied economically. Hence, Creative Space Management, Inc. was born. Using a wide range of melamine products with durable, easy to clean finishes and a wide range of color choices utilized in the kitchen industry, he went to work outfitting what was then a small cabinet shop. The first products were produced by Creative Space Management, Inc. in 1990. The Company's' goal was to produce a more adjustable, affordable organizing systems for the local marketplace. Since those early beginnings the company has expanded the product line offerings as well as the markets served. Janet Piven, Vice President Following an extensive career in the Real Estate Industry, first as a Real Estate Saleserson then as a Broker and Office Manager. Janet was whisked away to apply her many skills, talents and offer a much needed hand to her husband (Frank) in running this growing family enterprise. Janet has put her extensive sales knowledge as well as managerial skills to work guiding the company's growth. Her vision of the Company's future guides the day to day business operations. Janet's roles include the Company's' Office Manager, Sales Manager and Advertising Coordinator. Lets not forget she is also in charge of keeping the President in line! Through the efforts of an excellent Design Team under Janet's guidance, clients of Creative Space Management, Inc. have been continually coming back to organize every area of their homes. Many clients have returned to outfit their 2nd 3rd and even 4th homes as they have moved around the area and their families have grown.
Past clients have been the mainstay of the company' growth over the past 17 years and CSM is now located in a new manufacturing facility in Wall Township NJ.
